Dil Ki Takhti Par Hoon Likthi Ishqan Ishqan Jug Kya Jaane Dil Ko Mere Ishqan Ishqan |
It’s my summer vacation. As mandatory I had to do my
internship during this break. So I have planned to do it in my interested
area. Lots of discussion between friends
and we finally planned and booked our tickets, landed in Vijayawada.
So my internship is at VTPS(Vijayawada Thermal Power
Station). The name itself is big and I thought
good days are ahead. I made up my mind to stay hostel. Rooms were petite
with all comforts. I along with 3 of my friends decided to share the room.
Its summer that to in the vicinity of thermal station. The
whole atmosphere is so hot that we spent most of our time out-of-doors. We are
in such a situation that we hardly slept in the wee hours.
So we barely woke up at 8:00 in the morning and get dressed
followed by breakfast to our training classes. Our classes are similar to
conference halls. Centralised A.C. This is the only drug that keeps us alive
from the scorching sun from dawn to dusk. On alternate days we will be having a
plant visit. So everything is fine and it has been a week and it was the time
life was dull and dry.
As regular its evening and I decided to go out and have
something as supper since I got myself uninterested in my so called canteen
food. It is around 6’Oclock in the evening and I was on walk towards the main
gate. The pleasant air made me pleasing and I stood still enjoying the
pleasurable moment with my eyes closed.
When I opened my eyes
I saw an auto in front of the gate. A young lady got down from the
auto-rickshaw. I couldn’t see her clearly since I was at a mean distance. I
moved further and the lady turned towards the entrance. I was in fact figuring
her. The security guard had turned on the light at the entrance. Yep! Now I could see her. She looked beautiful. I was moving toward her and her towards me. I had
seen her and I felt she too noticed me. My guess was right. A voice interrupted
“Excuse me! Could you please help me with the way to hostel?” Yah! Sure. I helped her with the directions
and she thanked me.
I came outside and later my friends joined me. We had our
supper and chit chat, gossips and finally back to our rooms. I along with my friends used to hang out in
the aisle on the sides of the garden
which is centred. Lots of enjoyment, laughter takes place more often. I loved
the company with my guys.
A batch of our class girls used to be in their rooms which
are faced in front of our rooms. They
lived in their own world. Finally I started checking out for the unknown lady.
I got to know that she had to share her room with my college girls. They lived
in two rooms. Luckily she had chosen the opposite room of mine. Oh! Sorry
perhaps it’s me lucky.
So as often as we became neighbours I here and there
exchanged my glances and she used to smile in return. After completion of our
classes I used to play cricket along with my friends. But in point of fact I
had seen the unknown lady sitting alone watching T.V. I found myself it’s the correct time to talk
with her and skipped the cricket match. I joined her. I said “Hi!”. She replied
“Hello!”. So I started talking
Me: So U are interested in watching T.V
She: Not as a couch potato. I was feeling bored. So I had
come to scan the remote.
Me: May I know your good name please!
She: Meghna, from Bangalore.
Me: Jayanth, from Vizag. Which college?
She: NIT Suratkal – Bangalore.
Me: Oh! That’s great. I’m from K.L.University – Vijayawada.
Are you
basically from Bangalore?
She: No. I study there .I am from Hyderabad. And we had
recently moved to Bangalore.
Me: Oh!
And we had a chat for nearly thirty minutes. She received a
call And said “Excuse me! I got to go. See you later.”
I said “Ok. Please go ahead.” She left from my sight. And I
continued watching the TV.
My smile on my face said “I am back”.
She is good-looking, very intense, speaks very well. She had a kind of
curly hair up to neck, lovely voice, hates foul languages and often wears
jeans. Has a style of her own and hardly uses make-up. One can look at her
non-stop. One can enjoy nature and ladies for a long time.
At night I used to spend time reading novels and at that
time I was in a mission in completing “The 2 States – by Chetan Bhagat”. I
found my situation to be similar and somehow the impact fell upon me.
Later I used to surf net in my laptop. I used to connect it
with my Blue tooth. So I could see Meghna’s
phone also available. So Idea of Nokia ran on my mind.
“Nokia -Connecting people”.
But I didn’t
dare as there were friends in and around
me.
I used to have exams in the training session and Meghna
always topped the test and me with average marks. Our training period is going
to complete and Still I haven’t expressed
my feeling to her. This time I decided to top in test and share my
views.
So the time has come for me to work hard since the days were
about to finish. At times I took books from her. And at the last day I by a
hair's breadth stood next to her in the exam. I decided to talk to her.
It is the day where I had to get back to my home. I packed
my baggage and I was ready to leave in the evening. I saw Meghna in the lounge.
As a final point I met her to say good bye. I greeted her.
She said “Hi!”.
I said “Hey! I am leaving today.”
She: Oh! We had a great time here. It’s been nice meeting
you.
Me: So when do u depart.
She: I have some unknown relatives here. Dad’s gonna come
and take there in the evening. Hey! You wait
I will introduce you to my dad.
Me: Oh! It’s my pleasure. I will.
She: Sounds great. So what’s up?
Me: Meghna I think that we had become good friends.
She: Yah!
Me: So..... I...!
She: Sorry, Didn’t
get you.
Me: I fell in love with you Meghna. Please don’t think it's cheap. Morning heart beat, Illayiraja background score, lady in white
dress similar to the book ‘God Father’. All this happened in a moment.
I am in love with you Meghna. I didn’t behave like this. I
don’t know that I have that guts also. But I haven’t seen a girl like you.
I just don’t wanna let you go. I should tell this “I LOVE
YOU MEGHNA”.
She: What are you
expecting from me. I don’t have any belief in ‘Love at first sight’. You look
good. The way you speak , the things you do everything is fine. But I don’t
have feelings upon you. I am sorry.
Lets be good friends Jayanth. What do you say.
Me: Friends…! We can get rid of the things which we hate by
simply closing our eyes. But the feelings which we don’t like they always run
behind us.
I cannot accept you as a friend Meghna. I left the place in
silence.
I went to my room. Thought for a while. It’s getting late. I had to leave. I took my
luggage came out and went near to Meghna. “Meghna ! I need to leave. And I apologised her”. “Good
Bye “I said. And I left the place by finally waving her.
" THE WOODS ARE LOVELY DARK AND DEEP OVER
I HAD MILES TO GO, AND PROMISES TO KEEP
AND ALL TURNED UP."
Did u meet her aft the last good bye....
